-Pay taxes
-Purchase certified copies of birth, death, marriage, land records
-Recording of all land records for the Town of St. Albans
-Free Notary Services
-Register to vote and vote by absentee
-Get licenses for marriage, dogs and liquor

Dogs must be licensed on or before April 1st to avoid late charges.  Remember to bring a copy of your pet’s rabies vaccination & neutering certificate if applicable. See Animal Control for fee schedule.

The Town Clerk’s Office is responsible for Records, preserving and certifying the public records of the town, issuing dog, marriage and civil union licenses. The Town Clerk runs the local elections, serves as clerk of the Board of Civil Authority, and hears tax abatement requests and tax appeals.

Tax Payment Dates are as Follows: 2/15, 5/15, 8/15, 11/15
