Hey Vermonters!

The snow has melted leaving behind all sorts of rubbish and trash on our beautiful earth!!  Please join us, June 27th from 7:AM to 10:AM for an Outdoor Clean Up!  We partnered with Outdoor Gear Exchange, The Rozalia Project, Groennfell Meadery, Franklin County Stormwater, Planet Pack, Waste Free Earth & we are in conjunction with Northwest Regional Planning Commission to make this happen.  And now, we need YOU!

Bonus!  After the clean up, volunteers will be invited back to MRB for sorting, data collecting, snacks, and refreshments!
RSVP to let us know you'll be volunteering to help!

Logistics:
Meet at Mill River Brewery (10 Beauregard Dr., St Albans City, VT) at 7 am, from there we will be separated into groups that will each cover a different stream site. The sites will be:
Stevens Brook at the Welden Villa Apartments
Park along Upper Welden Street in the Barlow Street Community Center lot (39 Barlow Street, St. Albans City)
Stevens Brook between Lower Gilman St and Lemnah Dr.
park at CDL (3 Lemnah Dr., St. Albans City)
Lake St bridge (West of St. Albans Bay Park)
Parking available just east of the bridge along Lake Street
Mill River Falls
Park at the falls (1900 Mill River Road, Georgia)

P.S.
It is totally fine if you can’t make it at 7 am – just head directly to one of the 4 cleanup sites! Depending on how many late arrivals there are at each location, we may need to direct you to a different site.

What to wear:
Waterproof muck boots (recommended, but it’s ok if you don’t have them)
Breathable clothing you don’t mind sweating in
A positive, can-do attitude!
We encourage you to bring any useful tools you may have (work gloves, buckets, trash grabbers, etc.) – but we should have enough to go around!

We need all the help we can get to keep VT as beautiful and clean as nature intended. Help us fight the good fight when it comes to our Environment!
